Walling & Associates LLC is a boutique consulting practice known for helping teams and organizations improve leadership performance and team effectiveness. We leverage a process consultation approach as we design and deliver highly customized leadership development programs and executive coaching for teams and organizations.

Alison is a leadership development consultant and Columbia certified executive coach. She and her team specialize in designing and delivering customized leadership development programs for leading professional service organizations including Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, Marsh & McLennan Companies, Columbia University Medical Center, and Bristol Myers Squibb.
Alison partners with senior leaders and leadership teams seeking to maximize their leadership effectiveness and performance. She does this by applying evidence-based practices from research and experience in transformational leadership development consulting from Columbia University, Goldman Sachs and premiere organizational clients from around the world.
Her clients value rapid growth and doing the hard work to become the best leader they can be. Her role is to challenge and support her clients to seize opportunities and tackle barriers with confidence. Clients working with Alison experience an improved mindset, advanced knowledge and skill set, and set of tools customized for their unique leadership development. Rapid results include increased revenue, higher trust among team members, increased efficiencies, reduced attrition, and motivated teams.
As a faculty member at Columbia University, Alison taught in various schools and programs such as the Master of Science in Technology Management Program, the Columbia Coaching Certification Program and the Columbia Business School Executive Development Program. She has her Doctorate and Masters in Organization & Leadership from Columbia University. Her research focuses on client relationships, client results, and developing effective leadership teams.
Alison adores her husband, family and faith community. She serves as a Next Steps coach in her local church leading small groups and playing guitar in the band. She enjoys painting, jogging on the beach, rollerblading, paddle boarding and novice surfing with her husband.
